Eleven of us have been living in Seillans for over 20 years. Having a true knowledge of our village, they are eager to help it evolve and make it more lively and active while preserving its soul, its heritage and its traditions.
Twelve of us have been living here for less than 20 years. Enriched by various expreriences conducted elsewhere, they wish to actively participate in the improvement of our collective living environment.
Together we have elaborated the « SeillansAutrement » manifesto.

Brigitte Ricoud
70 years old, married, 1 child, 1 grandson.
Retired project engineer.
I arrived in Seillans in 1985 because of its high quality of life and chose to build our family home here.
A municipal councilor since 2020, I have gained firsthand experience of how the town operates.
Disappointed by the lack of dialogue and consultation, I decided to join Jean-Joël Artaud’s team. Having known him for six years and having worked alongside him, his attentiveness, professionalism, respect for people, and above all, his deep attachment to Seillans and its residents convinced me.

Eric Truc
59 years old, in a relationship, no children
Architect by training.
Born in Fayence, I left the village at 22 to study and work in Paris. Employed by the « Aéroports de Paris » Group, I held several positions in design offices, construction, and building maintenance. Whether at work or in my personal life, I’m known for being available and attentive to others. After thirty-five years in Paris, I had the opportunity to return to my beloved region.
Our search for a home led us to Seillans in 2022. The village’s authenticity and tranquility charmed us, but the activity and atmosphere I had known in my younger days were no longer there! When Jean Joël approached me, I decided to join a dynamic team that listens to its residents to awaken this sleeping beauty.

Elise Moutard
42 years old, divorced with a 14-year-old child attending Marie Mauron middle school.
I live and work primarily in Seillans, the village where my parents have lived for 40 years.
Seillans is the village where I spent my childhood until I was 18, and where I returned as an adult after obtaining my Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Nîmes.
For the past 14 years, I have had my studio-gallery in Seillans, where I exhibit my artwork and also teach a few weekly drawing classes. In this capacity, I may be known by my artist pseudonym, Elise Dartmour.
This dual role is the result of my journey between teaching and artistic life. For about fifteen years, I taught various disciplines of visual arts in different fields. Subsequently, I primarily taught visual arts at the middle school level and applied arts at a private school. For over 10 years, I have had the pleasure of working at the Seillans recreation center, leading art workshops with the children.
Because of this busy schedule, I initially hesitated to commit to this municipal project, which I take to heart and am fully aware of the work involved.
However, after speaking with the members of the list who share the same interest, and knowing Jean-Joël Artaud personally—a man of integrity and experience in managing large-scale projects—I made my decision with confidence and enthusiasm.

Geraldine Tauzin
58 years old, married to Eric, mother of one son and grandmother,
I owned two beauty salons in Antibes and was president of the merchants’ association. This allowed me to participate in the economic development of my neighborhood and to meet the mayor of Antibes on several occasions.
Having lived in Tourrettes for several years, we decided to buy a house in Seillans in 2022.
After selling my business, I decided to get involved in local politics.
Convinced that the current mayor is not the right candidate to revitalize Seillans, I met Jean-Joël, whose commitment and dedication to Seillans earned my complete trust.

75 years old, married, mother of two and grandmother of five,
I am retired from the French National Education system after a 43-year career.
As a French teacher, then a middle school principal and coordinator of after-school programs, I have acquired in-depth knowledge of educational and family needs.
Wife of a Seillans native who has lived in the village since 1992, and a municipal councilor since 2020, I am deeply attached to our community.
Today, I wish to put my professional and personal experience at the service of Seillans in order to develop sustainable and family-friendly solutions, particularly to improve after-school care and make daily life easier for couples with children.

Pauline Zarri
41 years old, married, 4 children, home care aide.
Originally from the Gard region, I first discovered Callian and then Seillans, where the whole family settled in February 2020.
Seillans charmed me with its authenticity and its green, sparsely populated environment.
It’s an ideal setting for family life.
I was disappointed by the limited leisure activities offered to younger people, the lack of vibrancy in the village center, the unattractive network of associations, but above all, the mayor’s disinterest in his constituents.
Having worked for several years in the events department of a town hall, I could put my skills and energy to work for young people.
That’s why I’m joining « Seillans Autrement » (Seillans Differently) so that future generations will stay, get involved, and thrive in Seillans.

Silvette FLORENS-AMBERT
69 years old, married, one child, retired.
Granddaughter of Broves residents. She has lived in Broves in Seillans since 2017 after 30 years working in the paramedical field in Africa.
My commitment (my goal): to revitalize the village of Broves and integrate it into the community life of Seillans.
Baptiste Fuentes
34 years old, and father of two children aged 6 and 3.
A Seillans native for several generations, I began my studies at the agricultural high school in Antibes, where I earned a vocational baccalaureate, followed by a two-year technical degree in agriculture in the Ardèche region.
I currently work as a farm worker in Seillans and previously managed a store in an agricultural cooperative.
Listening to the residents of Seillans of all ages, preserving the rural and agricultural character of the town, and encouraging its dynamism are paramount.
That is why I feel it is important to commit myself with kindness and determination to the « Seillans Differently » list.
Celine Abry
52 years old, divorced, two children
I have lived in Seillans (Broves) for 21 years. Enjoying community involvement and a member of the Festival Committee, I would like to be more active in this beautiful village and help revitalize it to make it more vibrant.
Olivier Ginet
68 years old – 3 children, 2 grandchildren, Retired and Company President.
35 years of experience in the private sector in senior management positions.
Seillans: Love at first sight 7 years ago that has never faded. Our village is magnificent, authentic, and charming, but lacks dynamism and vibrancy!
Its potential is enormous but untapped.
I am committed to supporting Jean Joel Artaud because he and his team have the skills, the human values, and the experience necessary to bring more life and community spirit to the people of Seillans.
Annika Eklof Melking
63 years old, married, 2 children (plus 2 grandchildren)
Project Manager
I am Swedish. I lived and worked in Paris for 17 years and have been a resident of Seillans since 2020. The first time I visited Seillans was on the Fête de la Musique (World Music Day). The village captivated me with its beauty, charm, and peaceful yet lively atmosphere.
I’ve noticed that the village has become less vibrant, with fewer shops, fewer small businesses, and artists leaving.
With extensive experience in project management, I want to contribute to making Seillans a vibrant village once again, an attractive destination known not only for its beauty but also for offering a variety of shops and cultural events.
Pascal Longieras
65 years old, married, 1 child and 1 grandchild.
Career military officer for 25 years, then shopkeeper. Retired.
Originally from Southwest France, I arrived in Seillans in 2017, captivated by the charm of this village, its natural surroundings, and the friendliness of its residents.
My goal is to develop the village’s appeal to attract new residents and businesses, and above all, to retain our young people by providing them with a more supportive environment.
I also aim to forge closer ties between the residents of Seillans and the municipal team to better understand their needs and concerns.
Through my skills and experience, I would like to serve this village as part of a dynamic and motivated team.
Mikael TESSIER
45 years old – Married – 4 children
Having arrived in Seillans in early 2017 as a farm worker, I was drawn to the environment and the opportunities to develop my farming and livestock business.
My wife and I became owners of the Domaine de Gala in January 2021 and established our vegetable and meat production business there, selling directly at the farm or at local markets.
I quickly wanted to get involved in local community life. I joined SCAP (Seillans Culture, Entertainment and Heritage) in August 2017 and subsequently became President of the newly created festival committee in January 2024.
Today, I am working with Jean-Joël ARTAUD to continue contributing to the vitality of Seillans.
Laurette Beniamino
70 years old, married, 1 child and 1 grandchild.
Retired from the French National Education system. I taught English in European sections where I also worked as a teacher trainer.
I’ve lived in Seillans since my first vacation at 18 months old, and I remarried here last February to Bernard, also a local. We now live in the family home.
I’m still passionate about education, tutoring, and school drama… It’s in this capacity that I wish to contribute my experience to our community.
Stephane Morel
52 years old, married with two children, I live in Brovès, Seillans.
I am a craftsman, and on my mother’s side, I come from a family from Seillans; my great-grandparents were level crossing keepers at La Rouvière.
Because of my roots, I have always been very attached to Seillans and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I grew up in Seillans and have memories in every alleyway.
I have lived in Brovès, Seillans for 18 years. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any development or gathering place for the village’s young people.
I have volunteered at several Flower Festivals, allowing our wonderful village to be appreciated in a new light and to be visited by thousands of people.
I can put my professional skills at the service of my village and offer a more nuanced perspective on the neighborhood where I live.
Françoise Gastaldi
70 years old – 1 child – retired English teacher since September 2019.
My family is from Seillans (parents, grandparents, great-grandparents…) where I have always lived, except for two years spent in the United Kingdom for my studies.
I have a deep sense of belonging to this village, which is why I want to get involved with Jean-Joël ARTAUD and his team.
I wish to dedicate my time to the common good, to be of service to the best of my abilities, particularly in the area of after-school activities, but also to listen to the residents and seniors who may not always have the opportunity to be heard.
Lorenzo Spatazza
21 years old, multi-skilled employee at the Carrefour Express in Seillans.
I arrived in Seillans in 2013.
What immediately appealed to me about this village was its charm, its tranquility, and the friendliness of its inhabitants.
Today, some aspects disappoint me or could be improved, particularly the youth population and the town hall’s involvement in youth activities.
I wish to put my skills to work for Seillans. My commitment is based on the desire to actively contribute to the future of the village and the well-being of its residents.
Celine Thomas
43 years old, in a relationship, 2 children aged 9 and 13.
Nurse at the Bargemon nursing home.
I’ve lived in Seillans since 2019. We were charmed by this beautiful hilltop village and its lush countryside, where we live in Saint Arnoux.
We mainly participate in cultural activities in Seillans; my two children have been attending the music school since 2019, taking piano, electric guitar, and drum lessons.
And my daughter and I have been taking drawing lessons with Élise for a year.
Jean-Jacques Andrieux
78 years old, born in Toulouse, and long integrated into the Seillans community through my wife, who is a true Seillans native.
We live in Mougins and have three children and many grandchildren.
My past professional experience as a civil servant in the public finance administration has given me knowledge in law, accounting, and also in the area of human relations. I could use this knowledge to benefit the community by helping to redirect municipal action, that is, by improving and developing the services offered to residents, which have long been neglected by the current mayor’s policies.
Sylvie Giordana
64 years old, retired. Two daughters and one grandson.
Born in Seillans to a mother whose family had lived there for generations, I left between the ages of 20 and 30. My daughters attended school in Seillans and grew up there. At that time, a school bus brought children from far from the village, saving parents travel time. Over the years, the bus service, then all the shops, and the hotel rooms disappeared.
Having served for many years as President of the Saint Cyr Association (an association dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the town’s religious heritage), I wish to contribute my experience to this new team to help revitalize our beautiful, sleepy village.
Jean Vaury
71 years old, married, 2 children, 2 grandchildren, retired.
Former diplomat, economist, head of department at an embassy, and regional director at a prefecture.
I acquired a holiday home in Seillans in 2002, which became my permanent residence in 2019. My criteria: nature, the sea, and the mountains! I discovered the very beautiful village of Seillans.
I then observed a decline in the local businesses and discovered the unforgivable delays in investment in the water network. Having been responsible for the economic development of regional heritage (ERDF) in close and daily contact with local elected officials, I am committed to using my experience, my network, and my skills to contribute to the sustainable economic development of this magnificent region.
- The Seillans Autrement team is composed of 25 women and men, as permitted by law, while the Municipal Council has 23 seats. The two additional candidates are not elected on election night but can join the Municipal Council should a vacancy occur during the term.
